The small town of Loomis, Nebraska saw two major fires in November and December of 1914 that threatened the very existence of the village.
This book looks at the history of the town before, during and after the fires. The majority of the book reviews the historical documents and recreates the events of the fires. Included at the end are transcriptions of newspaper accounts of the fires.
All attempts have been made to present events as accurately as possible in the recreations; however, some details have been introduced to provide narrative points. An individual’s thoughts or conversations would be the primary examples of added content
Partial funding for this title was achieved with an indiegogo campaign.
